Treasure Trooper - How to Make Money Online by Completing Offers

treasure trooper make money online.jpgTreasure Trooper is a website that pays you to complete offers, visit websites and fill up surveys. Based in the U.S, Treasure Trooper is open to all international users and pays it members via check only. One of the largest get-paid-to websites on the internet, Treasure Trooper is a website to consider if you are seriously interested in making some extra money online.

Here are some details from their website:

  1. Complete some offers. Most of them are free trials with payouts ranging anywhere from 5 to 50 dollars! Once you’ve completed an offer, click the button next to it to indicate its completion. The offer will then be added to your ‘My Pending Offers’ page to await verification.

  2. On the 15th-20th of each month, we will send your payment if you have earned a minimum of 20 dollars by the last day of the previous month.

  3. Refer your friends to TreasureTrooper.com and get 20 percent of whatever they make for life! In addition, you’ll get 5 percent of anybody that your friends refer. You can literally make hundreds of dollars this way!

Treasure Trooper Review

Treasure Trooper is basically the same as Cash Crate and can be considered one of CashCrate’s main competitors in the pay-to-complete-offer categories.

Like Cashcrate, the website is free to sign up and you can start earning immediately by clicking on the available offers, which open in a new window or tab.

After filling up the necessary details (usually an email or mailing address and your name) or completing a survey, you go back to the main page to click on the ‘DONE’ button.

Take a look at my screen grab of the user panel below:

I’ve noticed that you’ll receive instant credit for most surveys and websites which you can join without a credit card. I’ve tried it out for 2 hours and earned 4.50 for the free offers.

I’ve also signed up with some merchants who offer free trials of certain products (credit card needed) but I haven’t gotten a confirmation that I’ve completed the offer, even though almost three days had passed. Something I didn’t like about Treasure Trooper.

Alternatively, what I liked was that every time you completed a offer you earn cash along with some virtual coins, which could be used to exchange for products such as ipods, mousepads or bumper stickers among others.

Other than that.. Treasure Trooper seems to offer a lot more offers than Cashcrate, possibly up to a hundred I think. However one will soon notice the predominance of are surveys or lame ad-sites which offer free ipods or Xbox 360s if you complete some offers and refer friends.

One particular problem I’ve noted is that most of the offers are only available to U.S residents and a lot of them were simply just not available in my area.

Is Treasure Trooper a Scam? - Payment and Testimonials

Treasure Trooper has a very active forum and sections with hundred of screenshots from current users (Some of them from the recent month can be found here).

I was amazed to see experienced users earning over a thousand dollars in offers. The community seems helpful and answered my questions politely. I felt that Treasure Trooper was a pretty OK site to meet like-minded individuals interested in making money online.

Treasure Trooper’s payout rate is $20, which is far more than Cashcrate’s $5. If you do have a credit card, you’ll probably reach the payout rate much faster, because you’ll be able to sign up for free trials and earn considerably bigger sums of movie.

An example: Signing up at Emusic for a free trial easily earned me $3.50, which is just the tip of the iceberg.

Summary for Treasure Trooper

What’s Cool.

  • Lots of offers for U.S Residents
  • A very lively and active forum
  • Allows you to buy stuff like iPods or Amazon gift certs with virtual coins
  • Instant earnings for most simple, non-credit card free offers
  • Generous referral program
  • They actually pay! With Paypal no less.

What’s Not.

  • Completing offers full of all sorts of ads is tiring and time consuming.
  • Not many offers for international users
  • Payout rate is $20 (compared to $5 for Cashcrate)

Conclusion

Compared to Cashcrate, Treasure Trooper has the slight advantage, primarily because of it’s considerably larger range of available offers. I also liked the fact that there was a lively forum which motivates one to complete several offers everyday.

Two simple snippets of advice if you want to signup with Treasure Trooper: 1) Concentrate on getting referrals if you don’t live in the U.S, it’s a faster way of earning more money. 2) Download Roboform so you can automate form filling - it’ll help you complete those pesky offers and surveys at a much faster pace.

Let me know how Treasure Trooper works for you.
